I"ve upgraded my MacPro 6,1 (late 2013 version) internal SSD with a Samsung 970 EVO SSD and an adapter to fit the Apple slot. With High Sierra everything works fine. Disk Sensei says that Trim is enabled. However, the software hangs up and I can't switch to my other disks. When I click on the upper left icon nothing happens, then the list of disks flashes but doesn't stay available, so its stuck on the internal SSD. I see you've released a new version of Trim Enabler that better handles NvMe SSDs. Will there be a similar update to Disk Sensei (assuming this is the issue)?
